Warm Currency - Returns 10" 12" and it contains more instrumentalsWarm Currency are the duo of MP Hokins and Mary MacDougall, who began working together alongside Christopher Schueler in Vincent Over The Sink before morphing into The Bowles. A decade on, this new project carries on the murky song forms of the past two. Returns is a set of haunting and minimal folk songs. Simple, minimal melodies played of acoustic guitars and piano are nestled within layers of field recordings, soft drones, and tape loops and hiss.
